Your tour starts with the pick up from Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. From there you will proceed to Darjeeling, the “Queen of the Hills” situated at 2134m with the snow capped Kanchenjunga peak in the background. After registering your accommodation at the hotel, spend your first night in the calm environment.
Begin your day early and pay a visit to Tiger Hill to watch the sun rise over the Himalayas. Watch the sun set over Mount Everest and Kanchenjunga ranges and paint the horizon in different colors. After the breakfast, go for a toy train ride to Ghoom to visit the famous Ghoom Monastery. Proceed with the tour to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park and the Tibetan Self-Help Centre. Cap your day with an overnight accommodation in your appointed hotel.
Later, start for Pelling, which is a small town in West Sikkim. It is located near the foothills of Kanchenjunga and is famous for several beautiful places and monasteries in and around Pelling. In the afternoon, go to Pemayangtse Monastery and also Rabdantse, which was the second capital of Sikkim. Accommodation in the hotel for one night.
Leave for Gangtok through Ravangla, which is famous for Buddha Park with 130 feet tall statue of Buddha. This is also known as Tathagata Tsal and is an important place of worship and tourism and travel destination. Proceed to the next destination which is Gangtok – the capital of Sikkim and the place filled with monasteries and beautiful orchids. Have a free time in the evening to go round the city. Firstly, tourist should start their day by visiting Rumtek Monastery, Do Drul Chorten, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Enchey Monastery and Directorate of Handloom and Handicrafts. After breakfast, proceed for Kalimpong, which is a beautiful and calm hill station famous for its climatic conditions and orchids. In the afternoon, visit flower nurseries, Zang Dhok Palri Phodang Monastery, Tharpa Choling Monastery and Thongsa Gumpa. All the sites provide a peek into the multicultural past of Kalimpong. Accommodation at your hotel for one night.
